 Quietness
Quietness of spirit is strength of
spirit.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the
beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better
than the proud in spirit.
Isaiah 30:15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of
Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in
quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and
ye would not.
Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
1 Peter 3:4 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart,
in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a
meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of
great price.
Quietness, meekness of spirit and manner is something
that can be learned
Psalm131: 2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as
a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as
a weaned child.
Isaiah 7:4a 4 And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet;
fear not, neither be fainthearted
Zephaniah 2:3a Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the
earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek
righteousness, seek meekness
1 Thessalonians 4:11a And that ye study to be quiet

Lord blesses an atmosphere of quiet calmness
Proverbs 17:1 ? Better is a dry morsel, and quietness
therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
Ecclesiastes 4:6 Better is an handful with quietness,
than both the hands full with travail and vexation of
spirit.
Ecclesiastes 9:17 The words of wise men are heard in
quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.
