Fear Not!

Fear of failure

1. Fear of failure comes from a lack of faith, which actually causes failure; for only faith succeeds

Job3:25

For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Isaia 9:b

If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

Philippians 4:6,7

( 6 )Be careful [anxious or worried] for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

( 7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

James 1:6,7

(6 )But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

( 7) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

2.If we are trusting in the Lord, we have nothing to fear, for Jesus never fails.

(19) God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it ? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Psalm 37:5

5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 55:22

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS OBEY!

Your happiness & your health & your blessings in this life depend on your obedience to God. If you are obeying the Lord & are faithful & loyal & trusting & believing, then God's got to bless you. But if He's not blessing you, it's not His fault, it's YOUR fault!--Something's wrong somewhere.

Sometimes you just have to have the faith to trust God, that He knows best.--Just like a child has to trust a parent, even though he doesn't always understand why he must do this or that or not do it. He just has to "do it because Daddy SAYS so!"--Because Daddy knows best, & he'll probably find out Daddy was right in the long run! The smartest thing a child can do is to obey & follow his parents, & do as they do, & as they tell him to do, if he wants to stay out of trouble & survive!--So help us, Lord, to just trust Thee & obey, whether we always understand what You are doing in our lives or not.
The thing that counts with God is your faith in Him & His Word, & your obedience to the Lord. So God bless you & help you to believe & obey--As the old hymn says,
"Trust & obey, for there's no other way,
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust & obey!"
